Magic Squares

Please note:  this game has been retired and is no longer available on the App Store.

Certain to go down in history as the game that changed all the rules!

It’s Magic Squares!

It’s a game for your iPhone!

Master of Cards: Magic Squares combines an ancient mathematical puzzle with the euphoric joy of a card game into a high tech bundle of pure gaming pleasure.

It’s a nausea inducing thrill ride of epic proportions!

Game  Play

Rhetoric aside,  the game is played thusly:

You, the player, are provided with a set of playing cards, each having a numeric value.

You must (or well should if you want to win) place a card on the playing field in one of the card holders.

Each card you play increases the total value of the row/column/diagonal in which it was placed.

If the row/column/diagonal doesn’t equal 15 you have to rearrange the cards.

When all of the rows/columns/diagonals equal 15 you win!

Different modes have different cards with different values and different card holders (modes are different get it).

Each Normal mode has a matching Mystery mode.

In Mystery modes you are not shown the card’s value and the location of the cards is randomized. You have to play the card to know it’s value.

Scoring

Game play is timed.

The longer it takes you to beat the mode, the worse you are, err worse your time is.

Medals are awarded based on the time it takes for you to beat the mode.

The top ten times for each mode are kept along with the player’s name.

Unlocks

When you beat a mode for the first time something is unlocked.

It can be another mode for the game, different card and playing field art, or new music/sound effects.

Customize

Using the 21st century technology of options you can customize your playing experience.

Play using any of the 9 card faces.

Change the background to something that kind of looks different.

Kilo bytes of other art to use!

The music or sound effects annoying you? Change them or oh my goodness,  even turn them off!
